Quality management in education

        One of the most important contemporary challenges facing schools, colleges and universities is how to manage for quality. This time I will introduce the reader about quality management in education. 

         Quality is at the top of most agendas and improving quality is probably the most important task facing any institution. However, despite its importance many people find quality a most enigmatic concept. It is perplexing to define and even more difficult to measure. One persons idea of quality often conflicts with another and as we are a too aware, no two experts ever come to the same conclusion when discussing what makes a good school or college.

        Quality is dynamic idea and exact definitions are not particuarly helpful. However, its range of meanings does couse confusion. Important practical consequense flow from these different meanings

        So quality is important thinks for education, and for the next post I will update about how to improve quality of education
